Msulwa Life’s products use as close to natural ingredients as possible. All skin is different and anyone can still have sensitivities and/or intolerances to any compound, including natural ones and essential oils. Please check the ingredients first before buying.

We, Msulwa Life, are not physicians or pharmacists and are not promoting our products to cure any particular skin condition.  Our products are not medicinal treatments for severe and diagnosed skin problems. Please consult your doctor before using these products if you are uncertain of your skin condition.

We do not guarantee or promise that the listed ingredients with the described benefits will provide everyone with the stated skin improvements and healing. The purpose of listing the ingredients and their benefits is to highlight what information and research is currently available on these natural oils, butters and fruits. There are no guarantees that you will experience all of these beneficial properties on your skin.

We advise that you take note of the ingredients, and if you feel unsure, speak to your doctor and do further research yourself to assess your own or your family's health, intolerances, allergies and sensitivities.

All products are for external use only, do not ingest. 

Elderly People & Children: Some of our products are in glass jars and may therefore not be suitable for use by elderly people and children, where slipping and glass breaking could be a risk. The glass containers should be used with caution in the bathroom and not be in reach of children.

Pregnant women: please consult your physician before using any of our products, especially the products that contain essential oils. According to medical research, pregnant women should avoid essential oils and aromatherapy products and treatments.

People on medication:  Our products contain essential oils which are medicinal in many ways but may not be suitable if you are already using a pharmaceutical product. Please consult your healthcare practitioner before using any of our product's if you are unsure of what would be best for you or your family.

Essential Oils & Butters: Product's that contain oils and butters may cause your bathtub or shower to become slippery, be cautious not to slip.

Flora & Herbs: Product's that contain plant matter like flora, herbs or exfoliate's may clog your bathtub or shower, be cautious to not let it go down the drain but lift it out before the water runs out.

Exfoliants: Be cautious using product's that contain exfoliate's like plant, nut, floral or herb matter, do not use by open wounds, sensitive skin areas and avoid the eye area.

Children under the age of 10 years old should not use the general listed products made for more matured skin. Children above the age of 10 years old may only when it is suitable for them, discretion to be used by parents in this regard. We do not recommend that children above the age of 10 years old, not yet teenagers, use any of our: exfoliating, detoxifying, therapeutic products.

For your soap bars to last longer:

Do not allow bars of soap to sit in water. After use, place in a dry area.

Soap texture and colour:
As all of our soap is handmade, we can’t duplicate the exact coloration each time. Bars can look different than what is shown in pictures.

Note: Any product that is pigmented containing natural colorants or natural clay, could potentially stain light coloured materials. It is best to test a small area first and use a dark coloured wash cloth, sponge or loofah.

Skin testing: All of our products have been tested by family, friends, and testing customers before they are added to our product line. In many cases, we have changed our products to get just the right formulation.

As with all new products, that you are going to begin using on your skin, always try a small area first to see if any allergic reactions or breakouts occur. If you have any problems, discontinue use immediately.

List of natural ingredients used in our product's:
natural pigments, variety of clay, fruits, vegetables, variety aloe’s, botanical's, herbs, herbal tee’s, salt’s, spices, plant extract’s, naturally derived additives, essential oils, floral notes, natural plant based waxes.

List of base oil ingredients:
Coconut oil, Olive oil, combination of plant, flower and vegetable oil blends or nut and fruit butters.

Other natural ingredients used:
All natural emulsifier's and co-emulsifier's, all natural saponifying agents and all natural preservatives.

Allergies: Use our product's only if you are not allergic to any of the ingredients listed for each product. Note* some products do not have labels but the ingredients will be listed on the product description on the website. Feel free to make contact with us to make further inquiries of a product.

Product Weights

All goods, soap products and other listed products in tubs, glass bowls or any other container are calculated in grams or ml which was weighed and calculated in batches. As all the soaps are handmade, the weight listed on the website is an estimated amount, it may be that the weight listed is a few grams less or more as per estimated listing on all the products or goods. We cannot guarantee a precise weight of each item of goods or products in containers or out of containers, as all our goods and products are not machine packed and may vary in weight and size, due to packaging weight or other reasons that is applicable to an certain item. Example: We cut our soap by hand, pour the molds manually and fill containers manually, furthermore we use various different containers or packaging materials as required for the particular goods or products.

All products made for external use should only be used externally.
